Remember this chain of restaurants? It reminds me of the road trips my parents and brother would take across the country when we were young. This one is in Burbank, and since Chris and Kate had never been, we dropped in for lunch the other day.
The food wasn't nearly as interesting as the clientele -- the unglamorous, un-Hollywood, non-poseur blue-collar and office-worker types you rarely see in Los Angeles. We could've been anywhere in the U.S. But I guess that's the allure of Bob's Big Boy. That, and the big statue outside.
Not sure whose belly is bigger -- Bob's or mine.

Bob's Big Boy
