A Child's Garden School Harvest Festival

On Saturday, we headed to ACGS' annual Harvest Festival to pick a pumpkin, give Lily some fresh air, and have fun. Kate met up with Maya and her sister, Bella, and had a nutritious "bucket o' mud" with gummy worms to kickstart the day. They played a musical book walk game... ...and when the music stopped, the MC called out "Number 7" -- Kate was the winner! She was a little stunned as we hooted and hollered, but recovered long enough to select "How Do Dinosaurs Learn to Read" as her prize. Later on, she also won two rubber duckies in the ring toss game! Go Kate! After showing off Lily and eating a hot dog, it was time for Kate photo session. Kate loves posing for the camera.
Supergirl!
Giving her rubber duckies a bird bath. A favorite new face.
Meanwhile, Nana and Lily were spending some quality time.
Our first day out with Lily went smoothly. Despite the intense heat and my over-producing, engorged breasts nearly drowning poor Lily and soaking through two burp cloths, it was a successful outing. And it only took us an hour to get out the door!
