Dress-Up Time With Kate

The other day, Kate put on some dress-up clothes and revealed a unique sense of style. Channeling a Greek parliamentary guard, perhaps? No. Kate was a "princess," she said, and we proceeded to play "Cinderella" (over and over and over again) where I was Prince Charming. While we danced at the ball, the clock would strike twelve, "BONG! BONG!" and Kate would run off, leaving one (sometimes two) flip-flops in her rush to get home. "Wait! You forgot your flip-flop!" Then I would come around to her house, she'd try on the flip-flop, and we'd embrace. When I'd ask her to "marry me," she'd say, "Um, no. Let's just dance!" That's my sensible girl. She wasn't going to marry some personality-less, pretty-faced prince just because he asked.
