Kate & Lily

This is Kate at two weeks old... ...and this is Lily at one week. They look alike in these photos, don't they? Lily and Kate have another uber-creative Auntie -- Liz Quan sent lucky Lily her very own, handknitted bunny! Kate has agreed to keep it warm and safe until Lily is old enough to play with it. I think Aunties Jina, Laura, and Liz should pool their talents by opening up a children's boutique in NYC. Those Manhattan (and Park Slope) Moms would pay top dollar for their beautiful creations! And finally, Mr. Dimple, Lily, Dolly, and Kate hanging out before breakfast.

Lily had her one month checkup today and "passed with flying colors," according to Dr. Hemant. Hooray! She's now 9 lbs, 4 oz and 21.5 inches long, her gas and reflux issues have improved tremendously, and she sometimes sleeps for 4-5 hour stretches at night. I will enjoy every minute of sleep for as long as this lasts.
